Detailed annotationAn official memo from the director of the 3rd subsection of Industry No.2 (name illegible) dated 11.04.1935 addressed to the director of TEK (the Technical-Operational Column). It contains a description of the work to be done in the dismantling and transfer to a different location of an accommodation-block. For this work, in view of the fact that there are no horses available, workers from Factories Nos.3 and 6 were mobilized by the director of the 3rd subsection (name illegible), and during their free time they dismantled and relocated the barrack-block a distance of 600 metres from borehole No.48 onto the territory of Factory No.6. The author of the document requests that, as a reward to the prisoners who took part in this work they should be permitted to have food from the camp stall for cash, and also be given bonus food from the reserves. Clearly, a list of prisoners had been attached (not preserved). The document was transferred from the archive of the “Progress” Factory, the successor to the Radium Industry.
