Anele Grigaliene with her nighbours in exile. 1957. Ten’ga Village, Ongudaisk Region, Altai Province. Photo. Anele Grigaliene (1895-1968) and her son Romuald (born 1931) were deported from Lithuania on the 14th June, 1941 to the Ongudaisk Region, Altai Province. She was released from Special Settlement status in July, 1958, but without any right to live in Lithuania. She remained in Altai Province and died there in 1968. A copy of the photograph is kept in the Museum of Resistance and Deportation (Druskininkai, Lithuanian Republic). It was given to the Museum at the beginning of the 2000s by Romualdas Grigalis, the son of A. Grigaliene (Photo 2005)
